Holiday Club

Two of our IAHV volunteers facilitated the 1st Holiday Club with 50 learners on 26 June – a breathing session and meditation for youth as part of the Safe Schools Programme.

We taught gentle yoga, Power Breath and did a guided meditation for Peace in Africa.

The Western Cape Educational Department have started these holiday programmes to keep the children off the streets and safe. IAHV Cape Town have partnered with them to support and assist.

The 2nd image is from Protea Primary School where Francois and Elizabeth taught yoga, breathing and did a guided mediation for Peace in Africa. This was part of our yoga day outreach and we partnered with Projekt Ubuntu in Noordhoek who provided the yoga teachers for the kiddie yoga.
