Project Dignity
Project Dignity is a IAHV registered project. The objective of the Project Dignity project is to empower young girls through education and access to sanitary wear to reach their full potential. It has been estimated that one week of school is missed as a result of girls not having access to sanitary. With the funds raised from IAHV Stand for Humanity project and together with the team leader sanitary wear with other personal hygiene products for girls as well as toiletries for the boys was donated. Two schools in the Vaal Triangle, Tshepong Primary School and Emmanuel Primary School. The children from these schools come from underprivileged backgrounds and some of the children head households.
Winter Packs & Back to School Packs
This is an registered IAHV Project. The Johannesburg Children’s Hope Centre is the oldest children’s home based in Johannesburg, with 64 children who have been found in need of care by the Children’s Court. The children range in age from three to twenty-one years old and are admitted because they have lost parental care due to physical, sexual or emotional abuse, severe neglect or abandonment.
With the support from IAHV assisting with the funds we have managed to secure to purchase school stationery and books for the children. On the 13th of December we personally delivered the stationery to the home and on the 16th of January, the children received brand new stationery for the year. In the next few weeks, we will be arranging to host a yoga and meditation session with the children.

Renovations at Summit Primary School
The Art of Living Centre in Chatsworth currently use the Summit Primary school hall for follow ups, Satsang and courses. We became aware that there is a plumbing, painting and electrical need for the children’s toilets at the school and decided together with IAHV to raise funds for this project.
Hygiene is of utmost importance and if these basic needs of the children are not taken care of, then it has an adverse impact on their well-being and basic functionality.
On Saturday, 10th June, volunteers as well as folk from the community came together to restore and paint the children’s toilets. Post Covid, this was our 1st project and the team came together with enthusiastic energy to serve, build and leave a lasting impact for the children. A few weeks ago, the plumbing was also attended to and we are proud to share that now two taps are installed for the children to drink water from and the water is not being spilled onto their school shoes.
Some of the painting and the electrical work is still to be completed so we have set aside a 2nd day to complete this project on 24th June at 8am! Join us and be part of the movement to serve, instil and inspire human values!
