Colourful scarves and beanies were handed out to a group of kiddies living in the farmlands outside Vereeniging.
The kiddies who live without electricity were so excited to receive their colourful gifts to help them keep warm during the icy hours of darkness.
The families also received blankets.
Food items donated by AOL volunteers from the Lenasia Community, South of Johannesburg, who runs their yearly feeding scheme – The Lerato Feeding Project in the month of Gurudev’s birthday. All the groceries were handed out at the Lerato informal settlement area to the under privileged families.
IAHV, in partnership with Department of Correctional Services, Groenpunt – Vaal, held the first art competition for the inmates, across 10 different art categories.
