Art of Silence at Krugersdorp Correctional Centre

14-17th October 2025

Transforming Lives, Transforming Our Nation

In October 2025, a 4-day Art of Silence Program was held at the Krugersdorp Correctional Centre in Gauteng — the first of its kind in over 15 years!
This deeply transformative program was the culmination of a 2–3 month journey, following two preparatory feeder Prison Programs that prepared participants for a deeper experience of silence & reflection.

With approval from the National Department of Correctional Services, all 40 participants were specially catered by Art of Living & The International Association For Human Values to ensure the integrity of the program.

But this is just the beginning. To truly tackle crime from within, we must expand this life-changing initiative to correctional centres across South Africa. By transforming minds and hearts inside our prisons, we are laying the foundation for a safer, more peaceful society for all.

Your support and donations are vital to continue and grow this powerful work.
Together, we can bring peace, purpose, and rehabilitation to more lives behind bars — and in turn, reduce crime and rebuild communities. Please see testimonial from one of the participants.

Join us in this national movement for change.
Every contribution helps us expand the Art of Silence Program and create lasting transformation across the country.

Winter Packs Charity Drive Update

With heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors, we are pleased to share the continuation of our Winter Packs Charity Drive. Each pack includes a beanie, gloves, scarf, and packets of soup—essentials to help keep children warm and nourished during the colder months.

This year, the packs were distributed to two schools in Lenasia:

  • Zodiac Primary School (Extension 9): Received packets of soup to support their school feeding scheme, as beanies and gloves had already been provided by another kind donor.
  • Shari Crescent Primary School (Extension 10): Received full winter packs including gloves, beanie, and scarf.

We are deeply thankful to all who contributed and helped make this possible. Your generosity continues to warm hearts and homes.
