The Art of Living Centre in Chatsworth currently use the Summit Primary school hall for follow ups, Satsang and courses. We became aware that there is a plumbing, painting and electrical need for the children’s toilets at the school and decided together with IAHV to raise funds for this project.

Hygiene is of utmost importance and if these basic needs of the children are not taken care of, then it has an adverse impact on their well-being and basic functionality.

On Saturday, 10th June, volunteers as well as folk from the community came together to restore and paint the children’s toilets.  Post Covid, this was our 1st project and the team came together with enthusiastic energy to serve, build and leave a lasting impact for the children.  A few weeks ago, the plumbing was also attended to and we are proud to share that now two taps are installed for the children to drink water from and the water is not being spilled onto their school shoes.

Some of the painting and the electrical work is still to be completed so we have set aside a 2nd day to complete this project on 24th June at 8am! Join us and be part of the movement to serve, instil and inspire human values!
