We had a great response to this year’s Mandela Day Fundraiser to gift 3^rd Wave Family-Packs to 100 kids and families in Vredendal, a community in the West Coast of Cape Town who are part of the James House Child & Youth Care community.   A special Family-Pack would assist them during the 3^rd Wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Despite the pandemic being a difficult time for everyone, it is heart-warming that so many donors were willing to help another family, despite their own circumstances.

Each 3^rd Wave Family-Pack included a combination of groceries, winter warmers, hygiene items and educational material:

The James House Board, management, staff and beneficiaries of Vredendal have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all involved. The Family-Packs were well-received with much appreciation and they are forever grateful for the continuous support and donors who make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged communities.
