The 3rd Bike Run has already taken place from Cape Town to Barrydale by the IAHV Bikers with A Purpose. Funds are collected by receiving donations from sponsors, the bikers and their supporters and fundraising activities. The funds are used to support underprivileged school children and communities, plant trees, establish vegetable gardens, and provide meals.
- 7 boxes of library books was donated to the one of the schools in Barrydale.
- Our Partner Ladles of Love delivered 550kgs of food to Net vir Pret and additional 420kgs of food to Ebenaeser Club for the Elderly in Smitsville.
- 45 school children were provided with school uniforms and basic essentials to attend school.
- Discussions were held with a group of women, Disadvantaged African Women Network (DAWN) to explore ways of supporting them.
- Commitments for planting trees and establish vegetable gardens.
- An entertainment program was drawn up by Net vIr Pret to entertain the bikers and their supporters.
