Sri Sri Gardening Project – KZN
IAHV had embarked on a project called Sri Sri Gardening in 2020 and due to Covid and lack of funds this project was put on hold. Furthermore, due to the increased rate of unemployment and loss of income to many, this project assisted in growing their own vegetables and fruit gardens. Also to earn an income by selling their products and to be able to prepare meals for themselves.
To restart this project an estimated amount of R6 000.00 is required for the project, covering approximately 350 square meters of land covering, We humbly request to support and assist with this initiative with sponsorship for seedlings..

Edamini Combined Primary School
The Edamini Combined Primary School project is dedicated to transforming the lives of students at Edamini C.P. School, a rural school nestled in the heart of Shongweni, KZN where many children face the daily challenges of poverty. These children, many of whom come from homes weighed down by the harsh realities of poverty, deserve a place where they can feel safe, inspired, and valued. We seek to breathe new life into their classrooms with fresh, vibrant colours that reflect the potential within each child. By providing the basic necessities like stationery and uniforms, we aim to ease some of the burdens these young ones carry, allowing them to focus on their education and dreams.

Nelson Mandela Youth Centre (NMYC) – Pensioners Day
IAHV/AOL always used the Nelson Mandela Youth Centre and resources when needed at no cost for various programs e.g. our first YLTP, BWS workshops, Anti-Drug Forum, Maha Kriya’s, IMA events, food distribution during Covid, the flooding, the rioting, winter warmth etc. Our volunteers have always been part of all outreach programs hosted.

Immunity Packs
IAHV’s new project “Immunity Packs” initiated by Vijaylakshmi Sewnarain from KZN with regards to the Covid 19 pandemic. An immunity Pack consist of: Fizzy C (1000mg Vitamin C, Zinc and echinacea) & 50g flu masala( turmeric, ginger & cinnamon).
